Murder Maven: The Case of Shanna Gardner

What would a Murder Maven Retreat Look Like?

I'm just thinking out loud and brainstorming here… but I have a feeling this could be REALLY fun. 😂

I'll send a special invitation to everyone who signed up to hear more, and we'll sort out the details together. But here's my early thinking…

🕵️♀️ MURDER MAVEN — THE TRUE CRIME CRAFT RETREAT?

The Shanna Gardner (Stampin' Up) trial has been moved to May, and it's expected to last 3–4 weeks. So I'm thinking…

What if we created our own Murder Maven Jury?
I'd like to assemble a jury of 10 — me plus 9 Crafty Friends. The 9 Maven Jurors would be invited to join me on-screen for weekly crafting and jury deliberations.

Everyone would watch the trial coverage on their own, and then at the end of each week—probably Sunday—we'd get together to talk about what happened, what we think about the evidence, and whether our opinions have changed. You can craft while we chat… or just chat. Whatever you want!

And throughout the trial, you'll keep your own Murder Maven Case File, tracking witnesses, evidence, theories, and your daily impressions of the case. Then, when the trial is over…
We'll cast our final Maven Jury verdict!

🔎 THE MAVEN JURY

If you're one of the 9 Maven Jurors, you'll get:
  • 3–4 Maven Jury livestream sessions
  • A link to join me on-screen so you can actually talk instead of type. LOL
  • A Murder Maven Case Kit, created specifically for our jury, including:
    • A 24-sheet True Crime-themed paper pad
    • Other craft goodies
    • A handmade 5.5" × 8.5" Trial Notebook that I'll print, assemble and bind myself
    • Pre-printed pages for tracking each day of the trial, witnesses, notes, evidence and your overall impression
    • Murder Maven sticker sheets
  • Other fun goodies
🔎 DON'T WANT TO BE A JUROR?
I'll also make Digital Audience Tickets available.

You'll be invited to watch the Maven Jury's weekly deliberations and can join the conversation through the live chat. You don't have to watch the entire trial—or even every day of it. Come for the recaps, the commentary, the crafting and the inevitable… “WAIT. What happened?!” 😂

The audience can even cast their own verdicts along the way and see how your opinion compares with the Maven Jury.

I'm still figuring out exactly what this will look like, so this is very much a “let's see where this idea takes us” situation. But I have to admit…

I think this could be REALLY fun.

So… do I have some Crafty Friends who would accept a Murder Maven Jury Summons? 🕵️♀️🔎

*hugs*
